I own two of their high end, expensive toasters and both failed after warranty. No help from Breville. Since it is a similar problem in both toasters it is a product defect. This must be well known to Breville, but they claim to not have any problems with their toasters!

Calls to their service center will get you nowhere except a pitch for an outrageously expensive repair "service," with a very short warranty. Service staff give you scripted answers to your questions and no help at all. Every other reply is "it's company policy not to help you."

Do not buy this expensive junk.They donot stand behind their products.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
